Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions ("General Terms") form the sole agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Solonect ("we," "us," or "our"). They define the terms of use and access to the services offered by Solonect ("Services").
You can access these terms via a link at the bottom of our website and app.
By checking the acceptance box during registration, you agree to these General Terms. If you do not accept them, you cannot use our Services.
Additional conditions may supplement these General Terms. In case of conflict, those additional conditions prevail.
These General Terms apply exclusively, and no other terms shall override them. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive our right to do so in the future.
Third-Party App Store Terms
If you download the Solonect mobile app from a third-party app store (such as Apple App Store or Google Play):
- The third party is not part of this agreement.
- The third party has no responsibility to provide support or maintenance for the app.
- We are solely responsible for warranties and for handling any claims about the app.
Access to Services
Before creating an account, you confirm that:
- You are an individual (not a company or organization).
- You are at least 18 years old (or of legal age to enter into a contract in your country).
- You are acting as a consumer (not for business or professional purposes).
- You are legally allowed to use our Services and have not been banned from them previously.
- You have not committed violent or sexual crimes.
If you no longer meet these requirements, your access will be revoked.
Description of Services
Solonect connects people through shared group activities (such as dinners, walks, workshops, and other social events) based on interests and preferences.
While we aim to create meaningful connections, we cannot guarantee:
- A specific mix of participants (e.g., gender ratio, age range).
- Compatibility with other attendees.
- Unique participants at each event; you may see people you met before.
Event Participation
Event details (location and time) will be shared via the Platform shortly before the event.
You agree to attend alone (unless otherwise allowed by the event type). Guests are not permitted unless specifically stated.
The participation fee you pay to Solonect does not include extra expenses during events (such as food, drinks, or activity costs), unless otherwise specified.
We aim to match event costs to your selected budget preference. However, you are responsible for checking final prices directly with the venue if applicable.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
You may cancel your reservation within the cancellation period specified on the Platform ("Cancellation Period").
- Cancellations made during the Cancellation Period: full refund to your original payment method (processing time: 5–10 business days).
- After the Cancellation Period: no refunds.
Multiple late cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
Solonect Messaging
After attending an event, you may use Solonect's private messaging feature to connect with other attendees. You agree to follow these General Terms during these exchanges.
Maintenance & Technical Support
We may conduct maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access to the Platform.
For technical issues, contact us as outlined in our "Legal Notices" section. Support is generally available Monday–Friday (excluding holidays), 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Subscription and Renewal
Solonect offers access via:
- Tickets: single event access, valid only for that event.
- Subscriptions: ongoing access to activities and member features. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
After a subscription ends, you can continue to use Messaging only. No other services or guarantees apply.
Financial Terms
Pricing
Prices are listed on the Platform in your local currency.
Payments
- App payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play Store. Solonect does not control currency conversion or payment processing fees.
- Website payments may vary based on your location and payment method.
If payment is late or declined, we may suspend your access until payment is completed.
Your Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and updated personal information.
- Keep your login details secure and confidential.
- Respect all laws and guidelines during events and while using the Platform.
Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent yourself.
- Collect personal or financial information from other users.
- Use another user's account.
- Engage in commercial, political, or promotional activities without permission.
- Share content that violates intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Use malicious software or harm the Platform's integrity or reputation.
Content Restrictions
Do not post or share content that:
- Is offensive, abusive, or harmful.
- Is pornographic, violent, racist, or defamatory.
- Contains false or misleading information.
- Includes minors without parental consent.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Our Responsibilities
We aim to provide high-quality services, but we are not responsible for:
- Internet or network failures.
- Device or user errors.
- External factors beyond our control.
Data Protection
We protect your personal data in line with GDPR and other applicable laws. You can find more details in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform belongs to Solonect or its partners.
You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the Platform during your subscription. Any commercial use without permission is prohibited.
Use of Photos & Testimonials
By attending Solonect events, you allow us to use your image, name, and voice in photos or videos to promote Solonect globally, for the duration of your membership and up to 10 years after.
Confidentiality
You agree to keep any non-public information about Solonect confidential during your use and for three years after.
Termination
By You: You can cancel your subscription via your account settings at least seven days before renewal.
By Us: We can terminate your access by email notification. No refunds are given for ongoing periods.
After termination, you may still use Messaging without additional services or guarantees.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree with the new terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
